In the BMA’s Berman Textile Gallery, Ebony G. Patterson creates an immersive installation featuring her work …and babies too… (2016)—a memorial to children killed in violent crimes. The glittering tapestry loaded with symbols of childhood is accompanied by 18 pairs of cast glass shoes, faux butterflies and paper-mache balloons.

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra: Leslie Odom Jr. with the BSO, April 26,

Leslie Odom Jr. won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for his role as Aaron Burr in the original production of Hamilton. The BSO presents Odom for one night only in a mix of Broadway and American classic hits.
