December is a lovely month in and around Baltimore. Sure, occasionally we're hit by snowstorms of apocalyptic proportions that shut down life for days, or weeks, on end, but that doesn't happen very often.
On October 5, fashion, art, and philanthropy came together to raise more than $42,000 at the sixth annual Art of Giving event. The proceeds will be divided equally between the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Baltimore School for the Arts, allowing them to continue carrying out their missions. On September 19, Green Spring Station hosted Fall Fete, an evening of high fashion, delectable eats and plenty of fun festivities. Fall Fete benefitted Kennedy Krieger Institute. Sponsors included Baltimore magazine, Johns Hopkins Imaging, Christopher Schafer, Sagamore Rye, Rachel Mulherin and merchants of Green Spring Station.
Friends, business partners, local government officials and other guests helped to celebrate Towson Lifestyle's official launch on October 18. Golfers teed it up October 2 at Hillendale Country Club for the organization's largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds going to support free resources and services provided to those impacted by autism.
