Growing up in New York, I played sports year-round. There were a lot of good athletes in our area, and there were a few great ones. And then there was B.J. Surhoff. I had the dubious honor of playing baseball against him in high school, and it was a humbling experience!

The sixth annual Taste of the Town was a hit! Guests sampled food and drinks from some of Baltimore County’s finest restaurants and caterers, enjoyed live music, played games in the Casino Castle and bid in a fun, eclectic silent auction—all for a great cause! Photos by Coyle Studios.

Calico Celebrate their Grand Re-opening

Calico celebrated the grand reopening of its Lutherville store May 10, treating guests to drinks, hors d'oeuvres and a presentation by fabric designers John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon, whose new “Madcap Cottage” collection is available in the store. Calico moved to its new location, 1544 York Road, in early May.

Sunnyfields Celebrates Two Years in Falls Road Showroom

Sunnyfields Cabinetry, a division of Delbert Adams Construction, celebrated its second anniversary in its new Falls Road showroom on May 18. The high-end kitchen and bath specialists showcased the works of several local artists and artisans, giving the celebration the vibe of a gallery opening.
