More than 300 guests attended the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library’s Taste of the Town at the Towson Library. Guests sampled food, bid on silent auction items and listed to jazz while raising money for a great cause.

Expressions, Baltimore School for the Arts’ Gala

Baltimore School for the Arts’ signature gala, Expressions, had another wonderful year. Blakehurst Senior Independent Living Community held a ribbon-cutting December 7 to unveil 39,000 square feet of premium space, including a salon and spa, state-of-the-art fitness and aerobics studio with locker rooms, juice bar, yoga room, classroom, 30-seat movie theatre, art gallery, updated clinic and addition of suites to the Chestnut Green Health Center. Historical Society of Baltimore County 
Holds Annual Fundraiser

On December 2, the Historical Society of Baltimore County held its annual fundraiser at the Fire Museum of Maryland. Around 150 guests enjoyed the museum’s 40+ exhibits and the food and drinks provided by Towson Delly North. The museum’s Christmas train garden delighted the crowd. All proceeds will benefit HSBC’s collections and programs.

January 2018 Around Town

    Over the Thanksgiving season, Towson’s local Elks Chapter hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for more than 50 of the area’s veterans.
