Steinway Series at Silo Hill Holiday Event

Living Community Ribbon-Cutting

Blakehurst Senior Independent Living Community held a ribbon-cutting December 7 to unveil 39,000 square feet of premium space, including a salon and spa, state-of-the-art fitness and aerobics studio with locker rooms, juice bar, yoga room, classroom, 30-seat movie theatre, art gallery, updated clinic and addition of suites to the Chestnut Green Health Center. Historical Society of Baltimore County 
Holds Annual Fundraiser

On December 2, the Historical Society of Baltimore County held its annual fundraiser at the Fire Museum of Maryland. Around 150 guests enjoyed the museum’s 40+ exhibits and the food and drinks provided by Towson Delly North. The museum’s Christmas train garden delighted the crowd. All proceeds will benefit HSBC’s collections and programs.

January 2018 Around Town

    Over the Thanksgiving season, Towson’s local Elks Chapter hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for more than 50 of the area’s veterans. Art of Giving

On October 5, fashion, art, and philanthropy came together to raise more than $42,000 at the sixth annual Art of Giving event. The proceeds will be divided equally between the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Baltimore School for the Arts, allowing them to continue carrying out their missions. Green Spring Station – Fall Fete

On September 19, Green Spring Station hosted Fall Fete, an evening of high fashion, delectable eats and plenty of fun festivities. Fall Fete benefitted Kennedy Krieger Institute. Sponsors included Baltimore magazine, Johns Hopkins Imaging, Christopher Schafer, Sagamore Rye, Rachel Mulherin and merchants of Green Spring Station.

Towson Lifestyle Launch Party

Friends, business partners, local government officials and other guests helped to celebrate Towson Lifestyle's official launch on October 18. 16th Annual Pathfinders for Autism Golf Tournament

Golfers teed it up October 2 at Hillendale Country Club for the organization's largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds going to support free resources and services provided to those impacted by autism.

24th Annual RCM&D Regatta Raised $93,000 for Area Nonprofits

hosted its 24th Annual Regatta at the Downtown Sailing Center at the Baltimore Museum of Industry on September 8. This year, RCM&D raised a record-breaking $93,000 to support Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, Church Hill Activities and Tutoring, Franciscan Center and Sunshine Kids Foundation.
